Educator: Dennis (@flogandflow)
Dennis (@flogandflow) is an active member of the San Diego kink community and known for his unique style of flogging that relies not just on brute force, but also rhythm, sensuality, and artistry.
American society loves to glamorize spontaneity. Hollywood sells the idea that when you truly connect with another person, you don’t even need words – everything just flows naturally on its own. We the kink community call bullshit. When you play in a kinky capacity, vetting and negotiation are absolutely vital for your own safety. If you’re newish to the scene, and especially if you lean on the submissive side, this class will help you find your voice. Drawing from real-life experiences shared by other community members, the class will help you consider your own health and wellbeing, go over questions to ask potential play partners, and then give you the opportunity to practice these questions, both in asking and in setting boundaries. Our goal is for you to walk away feeling ready to consider and discuss how you want to play with someone before you actually play with them.
